Just thought that I'd add this shot and a note that Laura is working on a seperate blog for our trip. Not sure of the site address, but I'm sure Laura will post it as soon as its up and together and up to her usual top-notch standards.

Home again

Well we're back and trying to get back into the flow of the madness once more.
We had a great trip to the U.K. although it is good to be home again and driving on the proper side of the street once more. LOL

We are going to set up a site so as people can see some of the pics we took.
Also just got back from the mountain and a fun night. (Far to much water fun for one night)
Thanks Chris for the use of the hot tub and a great night.
(sorry to those who could'nt make it, but no pictures were allowed to be taken!)

What month is it?

Well Hello all,

It's been a while since I last wrote anything so I thought it was about time to do so.
Things have been going really well cosidering the amount happening right now. Getting ready for our trip to ol'blighty at the end of April. We went to Kelowna, Vernon and Salmon Arm this past week which was very enjoyable. Just about got all that we need.
Auditions coming up for this summers Project X. Had a really great time at the cast dinner at Bistro 368 on Victoria St on friday, (if you ever get the chance to go out for a bite, its well worth the visit). The food was exceptional.
Doing research on where to visit when we go back and finding out a few things that I did'nt know about along the way.
Its interesting to see how much stuff is actually made in China rather than Canada for the hospitality/gift industry.
Also concerntrating more on doing my E-bay stuff. Any old componant stereo stuff that is getting turfed, (some speakers, tube receivers as well) please let me know, I'm always on the lookout for stuff.
I'm going to be getting back into doing my photography again as well, so that'll be fun.

Well heres to all those of you studying for the end of the year exams and papers.
GOOD LUCK!!!

For those that are interested the

"Vagina Monoluges"

are coming up next weekend of which Laura's doing two of them. Its for a very good cause, raising awareness about violence against women, without whome none of us would be here. I believe its going to be put on in the 'Clocktower'. Check with them for details and bring your friends. Just class it as a well earned break from all that reading.

'Directors fest' also upcoming, wow,,, thats a long blog.
Hope to see or hear from you all soon, look after yourselves and remember to have a little fun every day.
SMILE :-)

All those who came to Carley's Halloween party, Its her birthday 2morrow the 14th (wed) be there and bring lots of beer, any questions call me or Laura..BEEE THEERREE!!!!

Ahhhh.

Wow....! Its already December. The days are flying by. (well actually ticking, but who cares.)
Have'nt been on here for a while. just keeping busy as always.
Funny thing was noticed the other day, watching 'the cronicals of riddick' and seeing how the storyline follows very closely to a certain play about a king killing scotsman and his missus. (interesting viewpoint,,,)
Books down for S.M. next week so I really should get reading that script!
Thats about all, going to need a break after Christmas to relax from all the socializing.
It's a hard knocked life!!!
Merry Christmas to all.
Smile, & a big Cheers to all.

Nearly here!

Ok, so I'm the first person to admit that I still love Christmas, food, fun, frolicing and all that happy stuff.
But, what the hell is it with the stores, we just get over Halloween and then WHAMMM! Before your could even fart Rudolf the red nosed raindeer, the shelves are stocked with crap again.

Now don't get me wrong, I love opening pressies the same as the next person, but please, even a two week gap between the pumpkins getting splatted on the local roads and Santa's super slay ringing through Walmart would be a welcome relief.
No wonder people start to hate this time of year as we get older.
Would it not be a good idea if we could get a bill passed in parliment stating that stores have to give consumers at least a two week break between holiday seasons.
Most of us shop at the last minute anyways so whats the big idea of being hounded by row upon row of consumerisation 365 days of the year.
Just a thought that would be nice to see, could it even bring back a little of the more important thoughts of being with family and enjoying peoples company that we have'nt seen all year.
Is'nt a phone call to let people know that you're thinking of them more important than the latest gimic to hit the shelves and send families into the red for another 12 months.

Here's to reclaiming Christmas one stocking at a time, may we not be swayed by the tide of the multinational companies that so love to eat our hard earned dollars.

Survival of the fitest.

May not have made it to the press but outlasted the Evil Queen.
Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha... (Scarlike laughter)
All in all its been a good couple of weeks, got to see the UCC show last thursday. Well worth the lack of sleep to see it.
Slowly learning to live life a little, including to not get to exasperated at the ol' pumkin carving.
Learning to breath,,,
